I’m sure all of us who grew up in the late eighties remember fondly Duck Hunt, that NES game with the gun controls and the dog that would laugh if you missed your shots. I know those were good times. For a while Duck Hunt was available on the app store but due to some copyright ownership it was soon pulled. So today we have Duck Hunter, a strangely similar game that promises the same fun. The game is easy to play, simply tap the duck that are going to appear on your screen to shoot them down. And press the reload button to recharge your bullets. The graphic in this game are great, the sound effects are amazing and very realistic.You also have the pause button so you can pause whenever you like, but if you later press main menu button you are going to loose all your progress so you are going to be extra careful here. This game also has a high score submit button so you can compete and compare your high score with your friends or other players. All in all this game offers you the same fun as Duck Hunt. So put on some headphones and the hunting season is open for you. Shoot away!
Modern Combat Sandstorm is by far one of the most impressive gaming experiences I’ve seen on the App Store, and easily is able to hold its own when compared to the technical accomplishments of other remarkable efforts in pushing the iPod to its limits like Real Racing, Doom Resurrection, and others. The game begins like a lot of console first person shooters where you’re put through a “basic training” of sorts that gradually teaches you the different controls, weapons, and techniques of the game while making you feel like you’re playing a game instead of a tutorial. The default control scheme works quite well, a virtual joystick is in the bottom corner that controls your movement, and swiping anywhere on the screen controls your view. In the bottom right corner is a button to fire, and whenever you can do context sensitive things like jump off a ledge or toss a grenade back at an enemy another button appears in the bottom center of the screen. so all I can say is that if you’re at all interested in shooters, or are just looking for a great game then look no more, this is the perfect game for you.
Ever wanted to be a fashion designer, but simply didn’t know whether you can work under such pressure or not? -Now, you can find that out in a fun and simple way. All i know that kids around the world, girls especially, have gone crazy about this game. Believe it or not, this game puts you in charge of a fashion show. Oh yes, a real life fashion show, models and pressure included. Your goal is to put on a 5 star show by matching the right clothes to the right styles. The controls can really not be more simple, all you have to do is drag the right set of clothes to the right model and tap the screen to send the dressed model out. That’s it. Power ups are available throughout the game. Power-ups can be used to further increase your fashion points and get you closer to a 5 star show.I don’t want to be sexist here but let’s be honest - this game is almost certainly going to be played more by style-conscious female fashionistas than macho men.But if men can put the stigma of playing a ‘girlie’ game aside I promise that they will actually find this one is quite good fun.To make things more challenging you have to available modes of gameplay: In runway mode the aim is to choose outfits for your models that will wow the watching critics. This involves selecting costumes from the rack, consisting of tops, bottoms and footwear, which best fit a required theme for each model; and in photo mode the skill is to capture your models at their beautiful best by snapping a series of perfectly framed pictures. To do this pan across the set looking for a model wearing an outfit which best fits a style chosen from the top of the screen. Touch down on the screen to move the lens around and get each picture in focus. Let go of the screen to take the shot. Points are awarded in this mode for accuracy in selecting the right model and taking a good photo.All that being said, just release your inner designer and have fun.
Since its appearance FedEx has become a major part of the business world. So its only natural that the iPhone apps team has developed a FedEx Mobile for iPhone application, that can really come in handy to all those that are interested about it. FedEx Mobile is an app designed to provide shipment tracking information and find out the status of shipments while on-the-go. This app is great for anyone who is a FedEx customer that ships packages on a regular basis. When opening this app, I was instructed to accept a user agreement and log-in to my FedEx account. Users do need a FedEx account in order to use this application. I did find that it was time-consuming to create a new FedEx account just to watch and track packages. It did take me more than a few times to log-in to the app because of a ‘Log-In Error’, but when I moved past that I was greeted with a screen listing all the open shipments I had. At the bottom of the screen were features such as the Watch List, Exceptions, Adding Shipments and More. Along with those features, users could take advantage of additional FedEx mobile applications such as preparing shipments, get rates, find locations of FedEx centers and sending feedback, all of which open in Safari. The interface of this app was standard and focused on the essentials for shipping packages quickly. One of the best features was the ability to see when your packages would arrive and if there was a shipping exception, which could explain why a package won’t show up on time. We all know that nothing is perfect, not even this app, but I truly believe that these minor set backs will be ironed out in the future.

Square works with a tiny card reader that plugs into the headphone jack on the iPhone. And it takes finger signature on the iPhone touchscreen, generates email or SMS receipts, calculates sales tax and comes with an online accounting dashboard to keep track of sales. Square is sending the card reader for free for anyone who signs up for an account now. The usage looks pretty simple whether you use the card reader or enter details manually. However, when you use the card reader you are charged a 2.75% +15c fee and when you enter manually (cash) it is 3.25% +15c. It is similar to Paypal in terms of fees but the convenience is unbelievable. Also, there is a transaction limit of $100 per transaction and $700 weekly limit. But they are saying they working on increasing these limits in the coming weeks.I think this could be a revolutionary way to collect payments for various reasons as long as the service is secure with the financial information. You have to sign up right now, and save yourself a lot of time, energy and nerves, because no one like to wait those long long lines to make a simple payment.
